Hi All,

Welcome to my first blog! Eek!

I thought this would be the perfect time to let you behind the scenes to Tullyhaize. 

My name is Karen (Hi there!) and I am the owner/ founder of Tullyhaize :)

Whilst Tullyhaize is my passion project, I am still a full time retail manager, so balancing the two can be difficult. For the Christmas period, I was thankfully supported by my full time role to take a career break. This has given me the opportunity to spend more time trying to grow Tullyhaize to what I know it can be! 

I am embarking upon the blog life to really start documenting the growth and journey of Tullyhaize. I look forward to looking back at this in the future and celebrating how far the business goes! So come with me on this journey! 

So to start us off…If you aren’t aware, or haven’t met us in person. There is myself and my mum, who currently run Tullyhaize. Two (wo)man band if you will haha My mum is my biggest supporter and I appreciate her always being there to lend a hand ,whether it be packaging orders, attending markets or going on a post office run!

From 4am drives to Kilkenny for markets, to just going along for the ride with my crazy ideas, she is always by my side! (Which for any of you that have seen us out and about popping up across Ireland, I am sure you have seen her supporting me! Best sales woman ever haha) so shout out mummy! 

I will let you in on a funny moment recently, where I hadn’t shared with her that I purchased a billboard 😂 (just for Christmas lol)  so on our way back from St George’s Market last month, I pointed at the billboard and said ‘what does that say..’ to her utter excitement and screaming ‘What have you done!?’ Haha 

I love being able to bring her on the journey too! Tullyhaize wouldn’t be Tullyhaize without her support! So I wanted to dedicate my first blog, to who is really behind the wonderful world of Tullyhaize. Me and my mama :) 

Come say Hi to us this weekend at one of our pop up events. Friday we are at Victoria square, Saturday we are at St George’s and Sunday we are Mountainview in Kilkenny!
